HUNTINGDON SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMPS FOR 4-14 YRS

Hinchingbrooke School's great location, close to the railway station and town centre, makes this site convenient for busy parents. The school has a specialist sports status and Barracudas really benefits from the fantastic facilities this provides. With 80+ fun and exciting activities including swimming, basketball, football, drama, archery and many more, whatever the weather, children will always be kept busy and active here!

Children make new friends, try new activities but most of all have lots of FUN at Barracudas holiday clubs! Our children's camp offers a safe and well organised programme for local kids to enjoy. With great facilities and organised activities, you'll see why we're the UK's favourite activity camps.

As well as the wide variety of activities on offer in the standard timetable, children can join our Skills Builder courses at this site including Discovery Squad, Motor Mania, Swim School & Dance Fusion!

Please note we will swim as often as we can, but swimming sessions are subject to pool and lifeguard availability.

Standard hours are from 8.30am-5.30pm, with the option to lengthen this from 8.00am-6.00pm with our Early and Late Clubs.

This camp runs in February half term, Easter, May half term and summer.

Children at the camp are happy. They make new friends each time they attend and they tell visitors about the fun they have. Children join in with a range of activities and are confident to ask for help when needed. Staff offer encouragement and support. Children develop their self-confidence and try out new things. They share their joy and excitement when they achieve their goal. When building a den, children jump up and down, shouting 'Look, I did it', sharing their experiences and achievements with peers. The camp provides children with a well-supported settling-in process. Parents share information before children begin, highlighting any areas where children may need extra help. Staff are aware of children's needs and interests and plan activities and routines to suit each group. This means, children settle quickly and are happy to separate from parents. Children who regularly attend the camp build relationships with staff and settle in very well. They learn and develop over time, increasing their confidence and independence and learning new skills.

WHAT IS FLEX?

We understand that your holiday and childcare plans can change right up until the last minute and that’s why we offer our Flex and Non-Flex booking options. Our Flex option means you can amend your booking right up to the last working day before your child is due to attend in any given week, Plus, Flex allows for amendments or a refund to be made if your child is ill and cannot attend.

EARLY & LATE CLUBS

If you're a busy working parent, have a longer commute or just need some extra time in the day you can add on Extended Hours. You can drop off from 8am and collect right up until 6pm. We're all about flexibility so you can choose to add either the additional time in the morning, or the evening, or both!

Paying in instalments

If you book early, you can pay monthly interest-free instalments using Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, helping you spread the cost of your school holiday childcare.

You can secure your booking by paying our minimal deposit amount with Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, then pay us in instalments up until the balance due date or clear the full balance by our balance due date.
